Elizabeth IrmenWith a BS in business management from Indiana State University, Elizabeth Irmen began her retail management career as a store manager with Mondi International in Chicago. During her time at the upscale Michigan Avenue location, Elizabeth Irmen made all personnel decisions while developing merchandising strategies that would appeal to the store’s demographic. Under her direction, the store’s volume increased by nearly 50 percent.
After several years with Mondi, Elizabeth Irmen took a position as a store manager with Z Gallerie. Within two years, she earned a promotion to district manager, a role in which she maintained responsibility for four store locations with 85 employees and more than $18 million in annual revenue. She also spearheaded the opening of two new locations for Z Gallerie during her time with the company.
Next, Ms. Irmen held management positions with furniture and home goods companies Ethan Allen and Black Tie Draperies. Since 2008, she has held subsequent leadership roles with Swarovski Crystal Co., including store manager of the company’s Orland Square location, sales manager, and district training manager.
